上海市吴淞建筑机械厂有限公司始创于1958年，前身为上海市吴淞建筑机械厂，是建设部总公司下属的专业生产建筑机械的骨干企业，公司现有员工470名，中高职称技术人员39名。公司凭借雄厚的实力，先进的技术，优良的品质，完善的服务，在国家50多年的基础设施建设中，特别是为大上海的建设作出了应有的贡献。
在新的市场经济面前，吴淞建机人更是奋发图强，勇立潮头，争做上海建机第一品牌，成为上海本地建筑机械企业的领头人，企业在发展内销市场的同时，积极拓宽国际市场，并在中东、东南亚占据重要的市场份额。2005年，公司先后收购了浙江华宇工程机械有限公司和浙江华良建筑机械有限公司，在浙江平湖斥资建立浙江吴淞建设机械有限公司，在新疆自治区五家渠市建立了新疆吴淞建设机械有限公司。产品覆盖了各种类型的塔式起重机、施工升降机、混凝土机械。公司在建筑机械集团化发展的同时，企业的产业结构向多元化拓展，公司先后进军卫浴制造、房地产开发、酒店娱乐、建筑设备租赁等行业。整个集团现有资产超过3个亿，2011年销售额达到5亿元。
